Research undertaken by a website targeting spouses looking to engage in extra-marital affairs has been used to reveal the UK’s most adulterous towns and cities. Maidenhead in Berkshire topped the list with 1,316 (two per cent of the town’s population) of its residents currently active on the site in question. Second was Livingston in Scotland where 1.9 per cent of the population used the site, followed by Farnborough in Surrey where 1,008 individuals are actively seeking affairs. Loughborough in Leicestershire and Bracknell in Berkshire rounded out the top five. The most faithful towns in the UK were Bournemouth in Dorset, Craigavon in Northern Ireland and Barry in the Vale of Glamorgan, Wales.
