In what is likely to prove to be a landmark ruling, a judge has allowed a woman to serve her divorce papers on her elusive husband via a Facebook message. According to reports, judge Matthew Cooper declared that Ellanora Baidoo should be afforded the right to inform her husband, Victor Sena Blood-Dzraku, of her intention to divorce him via the social media site as she is unaware of his current location and is only able to serve the necessary documentation on him via this medium as a result. It was determined that the documents should be sent to Blood-Dzraku once a week for three weeks or until they are acknowledged by him. Baidoo, who married Blood-Dzraku in a civil ceremony in 2009, claimed that the last address she had for her husband was a flat that he had vacated in 2011 and that they had only communicated via telephone conversations and Facebook messages following this. The first of potentially three messages has already been sent to Blood-Dzarku with reports indicating that he has, so far, failed to respond.
