We believe we've created the quickest, simplest & best quality divorce solution available

What are the benefits of an online divorce?

Online divorce may no longer be the revolutionary product it was when Quickie Divorce first began offering it nearly twenty years ago, but there’s little doubt that it’s a product that’s fundamentally changed the way hundreds and thousands of people throughout England and Wales have obtained their divorce and, we believe, will continue to do so for decades to come.

Those that choose to divorce online enjoy several distinct advantages over those that opt for traditional solicitor-led divorces, specifically:

We’re a lot cheaper

Solicitors charge several hundred pounds per hour whereas Quickie Divorce offer fixed-fee packages. So, an average customer of Quickie Divorce saves £750. In the event that someone wants to call and ask a few questions, those savings are even greater as, unlike solicitors, we don’t add any fees to our customer’s bills!

We’re quicker

On average, divorces we handle are finalised within just 12 weeks. Because we offer our services on a fixed fee basis, there’s no reason for us to prolong matters, whereas solicitors, the majority of whom charge per hour, profit from taking their time.

We don’t encourage conflict

We’ve already discussed the fact that solicitors benefit from prolonging divorces and, as a direct result, can profit from stirring up rancour and disagreement between spouses, too.

If, for example, a couple have agreed on how to divide their finances, it’s often in a solicitor’s best interests to subject this agreement to unreasonable scrutiny. When doing so, they can claim that they are acting in their client’s best interests whilst delaying the divorce, increasing their billable hours and, ultimately, increasing the likelihood of their client’s divorce having an adverse effect on their long-term mental health.

We’re flexible

People are busier than ever these days and, whilst most companies have responded to this, solicitors remain stuck in the world of nine to five. In other words, if you instruct a solicitor, you’re going to need to work around them – something which we find to be thoroughly bizarre.

Here at Quickie Divorce, we have staff available until 9pm during the week and are even open on Saturdays. That’s right: we work around our clients!

We offer case 24/7 Tracking

Like, we’ve said, we’ll work around you and we know how, from time to time, you just want to be able to see how things are progressing without the need to call someone or send an email and wait for a reply. That’s why we provide all of our clients with access to an online portal through which they can check the progress of their divorce at any time with little more than a few clicks of a mouse.

So, to summarise, getting a divorce online is cheaper, quicker, less emotionally draining and, ultimately, easier than getting divorced with a solicitor. Get in touch with us today.
